Right To KnowAt the Arts Academy Charter Middle School, we are very proud of our teachers and feel they are prepared to give your child a high-quality education. As a Title I school, we must meet federal rules related to teacher qualifications as defined by law. These rules allow you to learn more about the training and credentials of your child’s teachers. We are happy to provide this information to you.
Parental Involvement PolicyThe Board recognizes that parental involvement contributes to the achievement of academic standards by students participating in Title I programs. The Board views the education of students as a cooperative effort among the school, parents/guardians and community.
In compliance with federal law, the school and parents/guardians of students participating in Title I programs shall jointly develop and agree upon a written parental involvement policy.
School & Parent Responsibility CompactThe Arts Academy Charter Middle School, and the parents of the students participating in activities, services, and programs funded by Title I, Part A of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA), and AACMS students agree that this compact outlines how the parents, the entire school staff, and the students will share the responsibility for improved student academic achievement and the means by which the school and parents will build and develop a partnership that will help children achieve the state’s high standards.
