Fundraising Overview

Throughout the school year, Arts Academy Charter Middle School hosts various fundraising events and programs. These fundraisers offset our operating expenses by supporting speciific departments, organizations and student activities. We list many of our current fundraisers on this page.

Did you know you can help raise money for AACMS while you shop?
We participate in several school rewards programs that make donations at no extra cost to participating shoppers, including AmazonSmile, BoxTops for Education, GIANT A+ Rewards, and Shop with Scrip. Scroll down for more information on how you can participate!

Arts Academy Charter Middle School is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. If you have any questions about AACMS's fundraising efforts, please contact the Development Office at development@arts-cs.org.

School Rewards Programs

Why Participate in School Rewards?
By participating in any of the following school rewards, you help support AACMS just by making everyday purchases. There's no additoina cost to participate, but just a few small changes to your shopping routine can make a huge difference! Funds raised through school rewards programs benefit the AACMS General Fund, offsetting the ocsts of student programming, showcase events, marketing and promotional costs, and more. Please see below to learn how to participate in each program.
AmazonSmile
AmazonSmile donates to schools when their supporters make their Amazon purchases through the smile.amazon.com website. AmazonSmile offers the same products and membership programs as amazon.com, including Amazon Prime.
How to Participate:
1. Visit smile.amazon.com using your preferred web browser.
2. Log into your account and click My Account on the Accounts & Lists menu.
3. Click Shopping Programs and Rentals, and then Change Your Charity.
4. Search for and select Arts Academy Charter Middle School.
5. Start every Amazon purchase at smile.amazon.com!
Note for Mobile Users: Amazon app purchases are not eligible for AmazonSmile at this time. For AACMS to receive a donation, mobile purchases must be completed in your device’s web browser and starting at smile.amazon.com.
BoxTops for Education
The new and improved BoxTops mobile app makes it easier than ever to earn cash for our school! Here’s how to participate starting this school year:
1. Download the new BoxTops for Education app from your device’s app store.
2. Click here to register or log in and search for AACMS (School ID: 9571030).
3. Use the app to scan your receipt anytime you go grocery shopping. The app automatically credits qualifying purchases to our school.
Note: Some products may not yet have updated packaging. Please continue to send valid BoxTops to school when you see the old logo on the products you purchase.
GIANT A+ Rewards
Each school year, Giant Food Stores donates a percentage of your purchases when you scan your registered BONUS CARD at any Giant checkout! Simply register your Bonus Card online and select AACMS as your school of choice.

How to Get Started:
1. Visit giantfoodstores.com and sign in to your online Bonus Card account.
2. Click My Account, then Manage My Account, and finally Rewards & Savings.
3. Search for our school with School Code 26430.
4. Use your BONUS CARD when shopping at any Giant location.
You can check your selected school status by logging into your online account anytime.
Shop with Scrip Gift Card Sale
Shop dozens of your favorite brands and merchants while supporting our school! When you purchase physical and electronic gift cards through our Scrip Gift Card Sale, a percentage of each card sold is donated to AACMS at no extra cost to you. Starting this year, families can order gift cards online using debit or credit cards in addition to sending payment by check.

Our Gift Card Sale will begin in September 2019! Look for an invitation email from our school soon!
